Brittany Star Curcio was a loving daughter, sister, and a beautiful friend. She was a typical teenager doing the usual things that girls do at age 15... shopping, talking on the phone and sleepovers. But one ordinary night with friends and one wrong decision quickly turned to tragedy for Brittany and her family when she was killed after she lost control of a car she did not know how to drive.

The S.T.A.A.R. program was conceived by her friend, Rayni Koelln, to honor Brittany, and we will strive to bring awareness to everyone about the challenges our kids face and what we need to do to support them.
